During the period famously known as the ‘Islamic Golden Age’. A series of multiple folk tales were joined down on a page in Arabic dialect and was given the name ‘1001 nights. It is also known as the Arabian Nights. And this drama serial Katha Ankahee is the real adaptation of those tales after the Turkish adaptation.
Katha Ankahee tale starts with a female protagonist, ‘Katha’ who has lost her husband in a car accident. She is a single mother who is raising her 5-year-old son. Though she has a mother and father-in-law. But t they are not willing to do any help. Because of their anger their son had died. Her Father-in-aw puts all the blame of his son’s death on her. And asks her to suffer in pain same as him. He will not help her son because he does not care whether he lives or dies. Katha’s son ‘Aarav is suffering from Leukemia, ‘the last stage of cancer’. Katha does multiple jobs to earn money so she can save her son from dying. She asks NGOs and Banks to give her a loan of One Crore and Seventeen Thousand.
Aarav’s grandmother Mrs. Kavita Agarwal comes to see her son’s child. And becomes heartbroken after watching him in such a critical situation. Though Katha is the first daughter-in-law of the Agarwal family. But Reet who is Aditya’s brother’s wife wants to be the one always and hates Katha and her son. Apart from her father-in-law, Ngo’s, and banks, she also asks for help from Nishat online. But ends up asking for a loan from her boss ‘viaan’.

Katha is a very bold, hardworking, passionate architect. And has also won the best architect award to starts doing a job in Viaan Raghovanchi’s office. She asks for a loan from Jeetu sir but he refuses to give her the money. Because she is not yet permanent in her job. Katha wins the job proposal from the company. By getting them the Dubai Heritage project agreement from Sheikh.
Meanwhile, Katha gets 1 crore and a secure job position offer from Viaan’s competitor Pyramid company. bBut she rejects their proposal by telling them that she can not sell her loyalty. Though, she needs the moneY. But ends up rejecting the offer by thinking about other workers whose jobs depend on this project.
Viaan Agrees on Giving Katha 1 Cror:
Well, she runs out of time and could not arrange money for her son’s treatment. Her friend advises her to ask from her boss Viaan who can help her. Well, things are complicated because no one knows she is a widow and has an ill son.

His father left his mother and abandons him for another woman. From that day he starts hating women and believes that all women are gold diggers. Also, his friend and ex-lover cheat on him according to his perception. But Katha resolves all the misunderstandings between them.
Katha and Viaan Love Relationship: KathaAnkahee
Moving on in the story, Katha asks for a loan, and in order to test Katha’s personality traits. He demands she has to spend a night with him in exchange. She bursts on him in anger but ends up agreeing with her son.
Meanwhile, Viaan has been praying to god that she will say no. And not accept his proposal. He has after so much pain, fond one person who looks real and loyal. And he does not want his hopes to end here too. Bbut things get opposite to his prayers. Katha agrees on spending a night with him.
After that night, she takes her money and moves back to the hospital. And asks the doctor to start her son’s treatment and save her child. Meanwhile, her mother-in-law also succeeds in realizing her husband that is doing a mistake in not helping her grandson. But it was too late for them, Katha lost and sacrificed herself for saving her child’s life.
