Dhurga and Charu Serial Written Story:
Durga aur Charu is an Indian television series. It is the second part of successful series titled Barrister Babu. The story revolves around a young man who is in his early twenties and is a barrister by profession. He gets married to a child who is half her age in order to save her from a cruel ritual Sati. Later, they get divorced in order to finish the false and meaningless rituals. He supports the little girl to study and become a barrister. After it, they again get married and are blessed with twin daughters. The second season is about their daughters who get separated in an accident and are brought up in different lifestyles. The season Durga and Charu premiered on 12 December 2022. The Drama is produced under Shahi Sumeet Production.
Season 1: Colors Tv
Season 1 is named Barrister Babu. The story is about Anirudh Chaudhary who has just returned to his hometown after becoming a barrister and a Bengali girl Bondita who is just 11 years old. The story is set to be in the independence era. Anriudh is 22 years old but is a very sensible and gentle guy. He is engaged since his childhood. The story takes a twist when Anirudh comes to the wedding of his best friend who is getting married to Bondita’s cousin’s sister.
On the same day, Bondita’s aunt set up her marriage with an old man for the sake of money. Anirudh raises his voice against this injustice but no one pays heed to him. The man during marriage rituals falls and dies. The people from the male side start arguing that Bondita will be a part of Sati. Anirudh could not bear this injustice and marry with Bondita.
Anirudh Marries Bondita and Saves Her Life:
After this, he takes Bondita to his home but no one accepted this marriage there. Saudamini, his fiancée becomes furious and starts hating Bondita. Binoy, father of Anirudh always has a dream that his son will settle in London and become a reputable barrister. He is not in favor of this marriage and did not accept Bondita. However, Anirudh’s Uncle accepts Bondita for the sake of their family reputation. Saudamini plans evil for Bondita but is exposed in front of Anirudh.
Bondita Moves to London:
Later she was thrown out of the house. Bondita starts her education. She pays more attention to house chores than to studies. But later Anirudh make her understand the importance of education. Later, they get divorced in order to support the child marriage restrain Act. The villagers make it difficult for Bondita to survive. Anirudh sent her to the hostel but she was caught in a problem. Later Thakur maa takes Bondita back to her maternal village. Bondita continues her studies and went to London with the help of Anirudh.
After six years, she is more decent and a barrister now. She comes back to India and went to meet Anridh. After some struggle, she finally finds out about Anridh. Both confess their love and tie the knot. After some time, Bondita was blessed with twin Daughters who they named Divya and Durga.
Durga Charu Season 2: Voot
The story resumes with the year 1942 with a leap of 5 years. Durga and Divya are celebrating their 5th birthday today but unfortunately, meet an accident. Anirudh and Bondita die at the spot. Durga gets injured and loses her memory whereas Divya was adopted by the truck driver who causes that accident. She takes Divya and rushes to leave the accident spot. Life has taken both sisters at a great distance.
5 years later, Durga is seen as afraid of a nightmare. This nightmare is about the accident that took place five years ago. She lives with her adoptive parents who have a bad eye on Roy Chaudhary’s property. Divya aka Charu lives with a family of circus workers. Her adoptive parents Bholi and Baku are very poor. Bholi, her adopted mother is a very greedy woman. Charu wanted to be a barrister like her parents as it is the only way she can get out of herself from this kind of lifestyle.
Colors Tv: Durga and Charu Reunion
After a series of events, both sisters reunite but for a little time. Charu’s mother Bholi puts the blame on Charu for her father’s death. Charu was sent to jail. Charu misunderstands Durga and thinks she was sent to jail due to Durga. On the other hand, Suparna takes a promise to Durga to not meet with Charu. However, she sends her pocket money every month so Charu may continue her studies. 10 years later, both sisters became barristers. But Durga again enjoys all the luxuries whereas Charu spent all these years in a miserable situation. Later, Durga manages to clear her position in front of Charu.
Charu and Anirban’s Marriage Secret:
The drama takes a turn when Anirban enters the story love triangle form between the three. Charu and Anirban love each other whereas Durga falls for Anirban. Charu learns about Durga’s feelings for Anirban. She decides to step back and made it possible for Durga to marry Anirban. Their marriage gets fixed. On the wedding day, Durga meets an accident and forgets everything about that Day.
Latest Twist: Anirban Refuses to Help Charu
On the other side, Charu has to sit in Mandap in place of Durga. Charu made believe everyone that it was Durga, not her. She finds Durga and sends her to the room with Anirban. Anirban later finds through a picture that he actually married Charu. Bit Charu is concealing it because she does not want to see Durga heartbroken. Durga tries to remember that day but couldn’t.
Finally, she believes that she and Anirban are married now. Anirban argues with Charu but she still refuses and asks him to be with Durga. He says that I can’t do this sin to live with Durga as a married couple however I know the truth. Charu feels helpless as she can’t see Durga in pain. Charu gets hit by a cart, faints, and fell on the floor. Anirban holds Charu and brings her home. Durga gets worried to see Charu fainted. Dadi questions to see Charu’s hairline filled with Sandir.
Durga Finds the Truth of Her Marriage:
But Anirban handles the situation by saying that she was getting this for Durga. So I can gift her. Durga wants to take Charu to her room so can take care of her. But Dadi refuses by saying that there can be no third person between husband and wife. But she takes her to their room and made apologies to Anirban.
Anirban tells the truth to Durga. Durga cuts his wrist. Anirban screams and it turns out to be Anirban’s dream. He decides to not reveal the truth. Later, latik tells the truth to Durga. Durga gets shocked but accepts the reality and say Charu to stay with Anirban as they are already married. Charu says this is all useless, you love Anirban and that’s important. But Durga says Anirban loves you and wants to be with you. I will be happy if we live like good friends.
After a series of events, Durga finds out Charu is actually Devi, her sister, and Chumki is Bholi’s actual daughter. Chumki confesses that she will kill both sisters but before she does anything, everyone arrived there. Chumki was sent to jail. Out of happiness both sisters hug each other and cry.
In the next episodes, what will happen? Will Durga accept Charu and Anirban’s relationship by heart? Will Charu and Anirban start a new life?
